Benjamin Frisch est né en 1987 à Williamsburg en Virginie (États-Unis). Il a étudié l’art séquentiel au Savannah College of Art and Design à Savannah en Géorgie de 2005 à 2011 où il a obtenu deux masters. Pendant ses études, Benjamin a également travaillé dans le journalisme d’information à la National Public Radio, pour le site Vocalo.org, ainsi que pour le site de satire politique Wonkette.com sur lequel, en 2010, il a publié sous forme de série la bande dessinée Ayn Rand’s Adventures in Wonderland. Après ses études, il s’installe à Austin au Texas pour dessiner son premier roman graphique intitulé The Family Fun, une comédie familiale noire inspirée des journaux de bande dessinée et de littérature postmoderne, qui sera publié en 2015 par Top Shelf Productions.
